I am proud to announce that effective June 1, 2010 I have been appointed by Chief Judge Berryl Anderson to a full time position as an Associate Judge in the Magistrate Court of DeKalb County. I am the judge in charge of the Criminal Division of the Court. I was a Judge in the court on a part time basis for 25 years.

After 33 years of practicing law in Decatur I am closing my law practice. I am very excited about the change but it is also bittersweet knowing that I will no longer be helping so many wonderful clients with various legal needs. I will maintain my law office for a while as I finish existing matters. I will receive phone messages and mail at my office at least through July. I will maintain my office email address for at least several months.

I will maintain client files in storage for the appropriate number of years. I will also be available to give former clients referrals to other attorneys for any legal needs that may arise.
